What are some ways that you fellow Revit users have altered the Revit library and organized it to better suite your needs? When the company I work for bought Revit, we could not make heads or tails why the library was arranged the way it is. We have since copied and organized the library to our server (we still have it as originally installed on my computer), but I would like to hear some input on other ways to best organize the Revit library. Thanks, Marshall Loveless Architectural CAD Draftsman Titan Construction & Engineering Services

Since a new library is installed with each update, we don't alter it at all. We do put a sub-folder in each library for our altered and new families. We are thinking that updating (moving) our families to the new locations will be easier by not mixing installed vs our own families.
