My colour fills stop at the edge of the wall. By turning it to wireframe I can get it to meet at the centre. Is it perhaps the type of measurement - ie gross area totals all space and net area will total useable space? I have'nt tried this yet but I will give it a quick go.

has anyone figured this out? i am having the same problem. running revit 2010. using a room color scheme the actual rooms are computer to finish face but when the color scheme is in the foreground, so that is colors the furniture, the color also bleeds to the centerline of the wallks.

I'd rather be riding at whistler. or highland. thats good too.

Me too! I need to show which rooms are calculating their area based on just that room or are being calculated with some of the walls "non-room bounding". I have made all of the walls transparent, but.. for some reason... some times it is to the center line of the wall... others interior face. Anyone know what setting is causing this?

Check out the setting in the Room and Area tab. In there is a setting for how the areas and volumes are calculated

I tried that. It appears to set it that way for all future room object inserts, but does not change it for room objects already in the model.
Anyway to fix the room objects already in the model?

Under the Properties toolbar:
Graphics>Color Scheme Location, make sure this is set to background not foreground
