Please,
I am using 3ds max instead of Viz. Can I link the revit files to Max like to viz. I dont want to have istalled Viz and Max only because of transfering the files from revit to viz and than to max.

I believe the addon for viz also works with max... But don't quote me on that as i haven't tried it.

I just upgraded to revit 8 and downloaded the plugin for viz 2005...how do you use it....where is it in revit.

The plugin is for viz not revit...
Just export out a 3D Dwg out of revit and providing the plugin is installed in viz it will be able to interpret all the accurender material settings that were previously setup in revit.
