I’m having difficulties using the “picking host” tool, specifically with parking components. After I place the component and select it, I then “PICKING HOST” and then select topography, the component still appears to be floating or half submerged.(I’m placing parking lines).I've gone to the Settings, Family Category and Parameters and saw that "Always Vertical" was unchecked for the parking lines. As well as other items that I'm trying to get to follow the sloped parking lot, still no luck I've also had this problem with a flower bed next to a set of stairs. I have ground cover that is straight out horizontal. Any way to over come this? Picking Host doesn't work with this either.Does anyone have any other options I might check or am I just missing something simple? Thanks,LeeLORAC Designs

I've never found the parking lines to work well on the site. They are made to go on a flat pane - not conform to an irregular surface. You could split the surface and paint them in but that would be just too much work. I try to get them close and then I don't orry about it. You are usually not close enough to see if they have a shadow.
