HI, I keeping getting this message when I save to central:

This link is already loaded using a different workset configuration.  Please go to the File menu's manage links dialogue to change it.

When I go to manage links there is no workset configuration menu and I have no idea what link Revit is asking me to change or where. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Jeff

I now have a new project with the same warning.

"This link is already loaded using a different workset configuration.  Please go to the file menu's Manage Links dialog to change it".

The file will not allow me to unload and reload a new revit link as a result.

 Please help if you can

Thanks

In your project browser, scroll down to the links.

Right Click on the Link Name and go to its Properties.

Take note of this workset, change it if its not what you want it to be.

Then select OK.

Then Right Click on the Link Name again and choose "Select All Instances" and go to the Element Instance Properties.

Ensure the Link has the same Workset.  If not, then OK to close the dialog as you may not have the Element editable yet.  Then Right Click in the view and choose "Make Element Editable".  Then go back to the instance properties and change it to match correctly.

If all else fails.  Delete all instances of the link by going to your manage links and choosing Remove.  Then Relink in the link ensuring that you correctly set your active workset on import.

I have never actually seen this error message myself...

HTH.

Thanks Mr. Spot,  The workset configuration was a tough process to locate in Revit and now I think I have a better understanding what it actually means with your comments and an AUGI thread post:

http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=32921

Turns out in my case the mechanical Revit file had the Strucutral file linked into their model and our Architectural also had the same file.  Revit will not circlar link duplicate files so I had to remove their structural file and reload into Architectural.  Also the workset needed to be modified to be able to import.

 Thanks
