Basically I'm trying to create a roof made of glass. It's rather large (2016m in diameter).

I have a tower in the center of the roof. I need the outer edge of the roof to rest on the top of a 10' wall, and 30' high on the inside of the roof. So thats a 30' raise of a 1008m run. 30'/1008m. I get this error message: "Inner loops of a footprint sketch may not have slope-defining lines."  --I searched the forum and saw that someone said to split the roof in half and it would work. When I did that I got a message sayign "Can't create footprint roof."

 Can't win here Whats going on? Render below showing overall situation.

Not sure your image helps.  Do you have a square with a square hole in the middle?

That's right - the outer lines define the slope.  If the inner lines are set as defining, they are trying to control the same surface and that can't be.
