hi
i have quite a few questions:
1. is it possible for me ot put model text on a curved wall so that the text will attache to the curved wall?
2. im trying to export an autocad title block into revit but everytime i do that it gives me an error saying that it cant find the center of the file being imported and doesnt import anything. any ideas?
3. also with the title block i have a logo with a filled in region. this region appers properly in the titleblock family but when i load it into my project and use it for a sheet the solid filled in region disappears. only its outlines can be seen.
4. i want to add additional parameters to the titleblock, ex. revised by, so i created a new parameter but when i put it on a sheet it appears as a ? and becomes uneditable
5. if i want to create a 3d logo to put on the elevation of my building, what family wld i do it in? or wats the best way to do it?
6. im starting to dimension my dwgs, i want the dimensions rounded off to the nearest .5 but i want the 0s at the end supressed, ex if i have a dimension as 10.5 and another as 10.0 i want it to be 10, without the decimal. how can i do that?
thank you!

1. No. create each letter on its own plane around the curve...
2. Try moving the origin of the autocad file to somewhere closer to the centre of the titleblock. Or place it not using the centre option.
3. I have experienced this and its been so long since i setup the titleblocks i can't remember the resolution... I'll check and get back to you.
4. You have to load the shared parameters file in the project and add it to your project parameters and apply it to drawing sheets.
5. So by 3D you mean a decal wouldn't be suitable? Just create a generic model. Remember it is easier to create a non-hosted family first and if you need it to be wall hosted for example you can just nest it into wall hosted generic model family and it will be easier to constrain. Also, don't be too fussed with choosing the appropriate template as it is simple to change the category afterwards.
6. I assume you've setup a dimension style with 0.5 rounding? I don't believe you can suppress the 0.
BTW, I'm sorry for a delay with replying. Been extremely busy lately, and my freetime is drastically reducing.
HTH.

You could not run stringer dimensions along a wall but if u really need dimensions for 0.5 and 0 round off, you would need to create 2 different dimension styles. 1 with the 0.5, 1 without
Dimension all walls then run round and change the properties of specific dimensions to the other style. A pain and not ideal and a bit of a fudge
