I have a building with 50 apartment units, organized in groups one for each of the 5 different types. 50 units, 5 groups. I need to make a wall schedule per unit, ie apartment number xxx has this many walls of that type. So how can I make it so the wall "knows" what apartment its in? The only wall instance parameter I can edit when the walls are grouped is "mark" and I need to use that parameter for something else. Is it possible to count walls within a room area? Im using Revit 2009. Any help appreciated!

Sorry, walls do not associate with rooms. You can look into shared parameters but the data would have to be added and I doubt you can get what you want.
