I am working with Revit Structure and I am trying to create a 3D family.  I am switching over from autocad so I imported the 2D image but I am not sure how to create it to 3D.  Any help would be appreciated.

You will need to do the tutorials on family creation. Just click Help, scroll down to the help topic family. There are dozens of good tutorials. The family editor is the heart of revit, you must learn it and learn it well to become profiecient with revit.  But basically if you are familiar with 3d acad the tools are similiar, extrusions, revolves, sweeps, etc.

Hello Pcrupi,
.
Learning REVIT Structure and how to create revit families is a big challenge in the beginning. Not quite something that can be explained in a paragraph or two. The first thing you need to understand when creating families are 'catagories', and family templates, then how to constrain the family parts to reference lines and then how to tie it all together with 'parameters'. Flex the family then push it out to a project for further testing. You may have to abandon some of your DWG 2D geometry however and start from scratch when creating the equivalent in a revit 3D family.
.
If you are serious about learning in a decent time frame you may want to invest in the video tutorials at www.CADclips.com or at least have a look at a few of the many free videos.
