Ok, we are completing a floor pattern plan using the Settings,Colour Fill and then within this menu selecting floor pattern and chosing a colour and fill. No problem. My question is can you sucessfully put a fill over another fill and see them both? Or do you just need to find another pattern with both and put it in the pat code? Thanks

You can't have multiple pattens defined in a single material. you could add a transparent material ontop of something but I'd recommend trying to make the .pat you need.

The right way to do it is would be to add it to the .pat file. But if its a pattern you're not going to use again or just need to get it done quickly, all you have to do is use the filled region tool and under the type properties of the region change the background from opaque to transparent. That should do the trick.

Thanks for the quick responses, I ended up spending some time and making the pattern within the pat file. We will be using it more than once.
