Hi!

I'm trying to cut a roof using a wall. If you look at the attached image you'll understand better what I'm after.

I want to leave the wall as it is, and subtract the part of the roof which colides with the wall. Is this done in an easy way?

Thanks!

Christopher

Hi!

I've tried that, but what happens is that to roof keeps its shape, and the wall gets cut. I want it the other way around.

See attached image to see what happens. I want the wall to keep its shape, and the roof to be cut.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Alright, we're almost getting there Smile

What I really am after is to simply cut the roof. I want to keep the wall as it is: Flat top, no projection to the roof.

I've done a little mockup so you can see what I want to do.

 Thanks for all the responses!

i would gues i would make revit make the most close solution and use masking and filled regions from there on.

(i pin my sections once i start drawing masking and filled regions on it )

Did you try changing the Rafter Cut in Element Properties?
