Hello,

 Just got hooked onto Revit 2009. Am basically a programmer RevitAPI, any pointers - forums/members/links etc greatly appreciated.

You've come to the right place!  The kind folks at revitcity have helped me more than any other site over the years.  That said, the tutorials that come with the software are actually pretty good for getting the basics down quickly.  Welcome to the revit family and hope to see you on the forums!

I think the best way to learn revit is by video tutorials. Sit back, save yourself a ton of time and see how it's done.

You will find the best training videos around at www.CADclips.com ! Lots of free videos as well.
