Ok so I created a detail in a section how do I use the same detail callout in the plan view or for that mater in an elevation view? This is common to have the same detail referance in more than one view but I haven't figgered out how it is done in Revit yet.
Any hepl will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Terra

the way i did it is dumb way, duplicate the view, and use it for additional callout. Anyone knows the better way?

In the floor plan you want to add the callout.
Select callout, tiek reference other view then pick the detail you wish to reference...
HTH.

Hey DGCAD , YOU must go to the TECHNICAL FORUM TOO, i think if the people NEED HELP they DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR IT, THEY DON'T HAVE TO GO TO YOUR SITE (CADCLIP'S) AND PAY FOR IT, SO.... DON'T INSULT THE PEOPLE...

Mr Spot: you wrote: In the floor plan you want to add the callout. Select callout, tiek reference other view then pick the detail you wish to reference... HTH. The reference other view option only lets you reference other plans, not from section to plan... Please explain (for a revit 2009) user what steps I need to take to get a callout thats in a section to also show up on a plan view. Sorry I know this post is old, but I hope your still there. anyone else feel free to post a solution too :-) michael
