The company I work for wants me to get Revit to do a heat loss calculation based on how they do it by hand.  My first hangup is trying to get Revit to find the linear feet of exterior wall per room.  Is that even possible?  The rest of the calculation is pretty standard.  Heat loss/gain for Wall, window, door, infiltration, floor, roof, lights, people and equipment for each room.

 Any suggestions?

 Thanks in advance.

Do you use load calc software after you have calculated the heat loss for the walls by hand?
If so have you tried export to gbxml? I use Trace load calc software this way, It exports the wall data to the program then I can set my wall, floor, roof & window U-values to what I need. This way all window and wall data is exact and wall direction is already set.
