I am working in Revit Architecture 2009. I saw that there were a number of totoal cost estimate forums, but none that I read were exactly what I was looking for. I am fairly far through a project and am hoping to do a detailed cost estimate. I want to use the cost attibute of the families. I plan to contact manufacturers, get fairly acurate estimates for each product (windows, doors, floors, walls, etc) and then add those costs to the families' parameters. I was hoping there would be a cost schedule where I could add up all the different costs and get something more specific and accurate than a cost per sq ft total for instance. If anyone knows a way to do this, any help would be much appreciated.
