Revit 2009 I have seen on the forums that the best way to create a window schedule is to create an elevation view of the window then hide all other elements but the window. I have done this with the elevation tag that automatically alignes to face of window (so I thought). The tag apparently is not parallel to the face of window and cannot accept dimension lines as a result. How can I make these elevation callouts parallel to dimension off? Thanks -J

Create a new elevation. The elevation marker will try to snap to be perpendicular to model objects such as the door or window. Alternatively, you should be able to rotate the elevation marker to align with the window.
