Recently installed Revit Arch 09, I'm having trouble printing to our Oce TDS600 using 30x42 paper. Whenever I print I get a 36" wide by 30" long print which cuts off the title block side of the drawing (I do have a 30" roll loaded).Since Revit uses the Windows printers the flexibility to make the changes to the printers is incredibly limited (compared to AutoCAD / ACA). Has anyone else run into this problem? What could be a fix for it?

We also encounter problems printing to an OCE plotter in that some of the information prints in the wrong place.  We currently have to print it first as a PDF and then send it to OCE, as Kingrevit suggests.  We are currently trying to find out from OCE how we can get over this, but not much joy so far.  I will update this post should we find the resolution.

Thanks Tim, printing to pdf each time is "Unacceptable" to management, so I'll keep busting away at it. Its to bad Revit can't have printer setups like AutoCAD, would solve this mess.

I agree that this is not an acceptable solution with an extra step for printing drawings, but with a large drawing issue we can still print the drawings as a single PDF and send these to the printer, so the additional time required is not that much.  This is our interim solution until we can get OCE to produce compatible windows drivers, but it is certainly frustrating having to do things the long way round.

I print to an OCETDS600 straight from Revit and it works just fine. I don't know how to set up the printer but I am sure there is just something not set right in the printer configuration. We have two of these printers and I have sent 30x42 sheets to both of them.

Wish I could see your settings. When in the Revit print dialog box I can't even access the printer properties, I can anly access the Revit settings.

Printer properties are set from the first revit screen on the print operation. ... just to the right of the printer name...

I beleive I have it solved...

We've been using the WPD driver for the Oce windows plotter, well it seems the Windows Raster Driver (WRD) works just fine with Revit. After installing the driver I'm now able to print to 30x42 and all the other sizes we typically use.
