RA 2009, 2 questions

First, some components tend to disappear even though I did not hide the element or its category from the current view. When I click the reveal hidden elements, it shows up but when I try to right click to unhide the element from view, the "unhide from view" option is blurred out; meaning the object is not hidden! When I click the reveal hidden elements again, the object disappears. Any ideas?

Second, when exporting to jpeg, again some of my components either tend to disappear or other components that should not be visible from view tend to appear. Any ideas?

My pdf writer just sucks so I can't use it...it shows very thick lines

That problem does ring a bell but I can't remember what the fix was. It was something simple if I remember correctly.

A couple things to consider:

1. worksets?

2. hosted objects?

Maybe you should post some images.

Also when exporting you should try to publish dwfs. autodesk provides great free software for viewing and it translates lineweights perfectly, as well as giving model information when opening. You can even publish your PDF sets from the dwf.
