I'm working with linking the file from our structural consultant into our file (RAC 2009), and am having trouble with the VG override settings.  Whenever I set the model category to custom for the linked file, I start getting these orange lines (see attached) from the trusses.  I've tried turning off every subset in 'structural framing', but that hasn't worked.  I believe it has something to do with the truss construction in Revit Structure, but could use some help getting rid of it so we can show the trusses in our plans.  Thanks.

You must adjust the settings of the linked file.

Visibility Graphics/linked revit/display settings/custom/model categories/structural framing/analytical model

I think its the analytical model anyways. Let me know if this works or is confusing.

Thanks.  That worked.  As a note to anyone else, the 'Show categories from all disciplines' box needs to be checked in order to see this category.

good deal, when linking structure I have become a big fan of filitering out the redundant elements then binding the link. It create a model group that allows more control over ther structure, like hosting objects and things of that nature.
