Does anyone know how to delete a type out of a filled region. I know how to delete a filled region via the settings pulldown but I am having trouble deleting a type. Does that make sense? Say you have a filled region, you have duplicated it and have a new type of filled region within that pattern. Say you have a few types and now you don't want them. Can you delete those? I have tried to use help and have asked other people in the office but they don't seem to have an answer. I have tried through the help command and experimentation but have not figured it out. I am either not very smart or lazy. Perhaps it is both? At any rate, I thought I would ask the users here for some insight. Thanks!

Filter? Purging does not work either. I tried that, but I negleted to put that in my rambling post. Perhaps a screen shot is in order? Thanks for the input.

Did you make sure that this type of filled region wasn't being used? Because that would explain the reason that purging unused isn't working.

Belinski I can try that, it's not really that big of a deal. I just thought there may be something I was overlooking. Thanks for the input. I appreciate the time. Have a good one. Ben

All of your families, both used and unused, live in the Project Browser. It acts like a file tree, and if you click the plus for Families then Detail Items then Filled Region, you will see all of the ones you have created in the project. You can right click on any one and edit properties, rename, and yes, also delete. Cheers.

Gald I could help with the leaping! I've had my moments, so it feels good to save someone else from one of theirs!
