I have exterior walls on levels 1 and 2 with different thickness (15" and 12", for example)... and I try to line them up so the outside of the walls is seamless.  But in a 3d or elevation views, they are not completely aligned.  How can I get the outer surfaces to snap to each other?

I'm using revit architecture 2009.

Thanks for any help,

Brendan

I'm not quite understand, do you mean there's a line between the thick wall and the thin wall? if so, I think you don't have to worry, when you render it, the line will be gone. attached is my trial for your case. I hope what I assume for your problem is right...

I create bottom wall 500mm thickness and the top wall is 140mm, both using Concrete Material. I'm using align tool to make both exterior face wall aligned.

I guess align does work.  I tried it unsuccessfuly before, but it's apparently just a matter of the walls being close enough for align to work.  Thanks.
