Does anyone know how to add a cant strip to a roof beside by drawing lines in the roof plan and then detailing lines in the wall section?  I've tried making a fascia, which works until you get to the crickets.  In section the fascia does not follow the slope of the crickets.

Did you really show these in plan before?   This really seems to be extreme.

If you must model these, You could do them as a wall sweep or even a cornice but .... that's a lot of work for someting that is meaningless.  We don't care to show these except in details.

you can try the Modify Sub-Elements Tool....basically you place a roof or slab with no slope using the line control.  Then you can place roof drains....or you can just create shapes at the right slope and merge them....take a look at that in the help command

WWHub...for us...they are very important...especially if you look at slopes that impact metal siding, hvac curbs and misc. objects on a roof.....we do them all the time and they are modeled accuratley.  I really wish autodesk would improve these tools, unlike their competitors....!-- /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {mso-style-parent:""; margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";} @page Section1 {size:8.5in 11.0in; margin:1.0in 1.25in 1.0in 1.25in; mso-header-margin:.5in; mso-footer-margin:.5in; mso-paper-source:0;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} -->

I really want this to work...some good things some bad
