I am having difficulties with handrails and I was hoping someone could help me out. I have some curved stairs that I need to have handrails to. I know how to model handrails on straight runs of stairs, however I can't get the handrails to slope with the stairs on the curved stairs. Any suggestions? I have attached a view of the stairs to help explain what I am talking about. Thanks for your help Lisa

Thanks for the video. That is how I built the railings but they still won't slope with the stairs. Do you think the problem is with the stairs? My stairs are non-monolithic. For some reason, Revit wouldn't let me build the stairs as monolithic.

I don't know why Revit don't allow you to change / create monolithic stairs but in the same way you can create the handrails in others kind of stairs, did you made the WEB UPDATE for Revit 20080602_1900 to Revit 2009? or are you working with version 2008?

We are still working on 2008. Our contractor is still working with 2008 so that forces us to not update to 2009.

Thanks again for the video. I must have done something wrong when I created the stairs. I'm about to head out for the day, but I will try and rebuild the stairs tomorrow. Thanks for you help!
