When entering the visibility graphics override menu my computer seems to completely freeze up for 15 seconds or more. The mouse freezes on the screen, if i have music streaming it turns off. everything stops It has always come back, so aside from being annoying and always wondering if the next time might be the one that it doesn't recover from, it's really not a problem. Is it a known issue that will be adressed in the next build ? It only started when I began using Revit Structure 2009 - 20080602_1900 (no problem in previous 2009 build). Thanks

Well, it's the first time i heard this issue but, Revit Struct. 2009 with Web Update DONE, you don't tell the caracteristics of your machine (RAM, graphics, processor, OS-(32, 64bits)...) and how many programs do you have OPEN at the same time, did you check VIRUS?

Running an Intel Core 2 T7600@2.33GHz, 4GB ram, 32 bit, XP Pro SP3, Nvidia Quadro FX 2500M I can have nothing but Revit running and it locks up. Virus scan came back with nothing. I also opened VG while running a virus scan (to see if it locks up as well) and it also stopped until revit recovered (the list of files symantec displays/scrolls as it scans stopped, the runtimer than counts in seconds stopped, however when it started back up it didn't continue where it left off. i.e. if it stopped 30 seconds in it didn't pick back up at 31 it jumped right to 45 seconds or so when it continued scanning) thanks again

I believe i figured out the culprit. I had the OpenGL Hardware acceleration in the Graphics settings checked. I unchecked that and the visibility graphics open up with no lag/lock up. I don't know what that means or if it's something that needs addressed in the next build, but I'm just going to leave it unchecked (which i believe is the default).

" it probably means that there is some compatability issues between OpenGL Hardware Acceleration and your Graphics card.

Yeah, go to settings-options and turn off OPENGL, exit from revit and open revit again, see if still continue the problem...
