I have modeled an old fascade with lots of precast concrete shapes. I created the shapes as generic model families. Is there a way to take these families and create details. I would like to have an isometric view and a front and side view that I can dimension and use for construction of the shapes. I don't want to have to go and redraw them as 2d details.

Why don't you just use callouts - sections - as needed to show these items. If they have been created as seperate elements, you can turn off or hide in view everything you don't want and you can hide the callouts if you want in the elevation where you created the callouts.
