I could not save from a template file .RTE to an RVT file....dont know why, the option to choose .RVT is not available...

but I did change it using explorer and just edited the extension...which worked fine...

was very frustrated, because I couldnt follow the tutorail i had.

If by mistaque you click in "Create a new template" and not "Create a new project" then when you go to save the only format available is "RTE" because it's a Template.... "He" don't permit save in RVT file because the RVT's are from project and you are working in a Template, that's why...

so there is no way to convert rte file to rvt file?oh goooood pls help me i need to save rte as rvt or convert it

Start a new project from template using the 'R' dropdown, use your RTE file, save as project.

Yes there is a way to save it new. See the original post. just use explorer to do it. takes 15 seconds max...:-)..lol, also can seeone of my original posts where I was the frustrated noob! :-P
