Hi, is it possible to chang the referencing sheet for sections and details. The reason for this is i cut a section while in the floor plan but once i placed the section view on a sheet it wonts to refernece to view back to the elevation sheet which is not what i wont. I wont the section to reference the floor plan sheet. Any ideas

Ok on further investigation the reference is based on sheet order - but is there a workaround for this other than putting text over the offending reference or creating an editable tag?

I believe what you are asking to do is the old "shown on" / "called out on" annotating. We used this in the past and it's nice but I haven't seen it used in REVIT. I have not tried to set this up - why don't you see if you can. REVIT does keep track of this information. Good news. I just checked it out and you can select the referencing sheet parameter when you edit the title family.

do you mean in the family is self or from edit while in the project - i have looked at both and done see where i am able to change it to reference another view. All options are greyed out in the family after editing label and if editing the view title in the project it shows the sheet thats being referenced but its greyed out aswell and unable to be change? i must not be understanding what you mean sorry.
