Hi Anybody known to this problem. When i select the curtain grid and click on add or remove segment , it does not work properly. For example if i want to add a segment then nothing happens, Strange thing is when i do the same task many times then it comes. Thnx in advance

First, are you using curtain wall or storefront? They are different! Second, Are you sure you don't have multiple grid lines in the same location?

Hello Hub, I am using curtain wall. See attached snapshot for more detail. There is only one grid. Also i think its not possible to place multiple grid at the same location. Thnx

Hi RAMS, when you create the curtain wall you probablly create the grid lines (horizontal and vertical) or you create them by the "Moddeling", so when you pick in the "grid line" the button "Add or remove segments" appears like you have in your image, then pick in the "Segment" you want to "Remove" because you have already created, if you do a mistake and you did not delete that segment but the other then pick again in that grid line and pick in the button "Add ..." and pick in the segment you really want to delete and pick in the space where you want to put again the segment you delete by mistake... Right now i can't create a video because an "Image paints more then 1000 words", if you need so, tell me....

Thnx Typhhon. It clearly explain all the possibilities with the Curtain grid in revit. But not sure whats wrong with my file. I will try by creating new grid lines and will tell. Thnx once again

same do i. i have the same problem and solve it by creating a new curtain wall. but it hurts that all has to be done over again.

You do not have to create a new curtain wall.
