I am using Revit Structural 2008. I have placed these walls sometime back and now I need to change the elevation of them. I click on the wall, then right click Element Properties, change the Top Offset to the level I want the wall at. The walls in section and plan does not change but the Unconnected Hight under Top Constraint in Element Properties says that it is the right hieght. I can place a new wall with the same constraints and eveything is fine. Does anyone know what I can do to make my walls show the right hight in section and 3D.

You are not clear in your question. Are you changing the level s well as the top? Did you edit the profile of the wall?

I didnt change the profile of the wall. I have made a new level and now I want the walls to go to that new level and it wont let me change the hight of the walls. I can change it in the element properties and it shows in element proprerties that it has been changed but it doesnt show that it was changed in 3D or in section.

Well, there is something i don't understand, if you create a new level and you want the walls go to that new level ie. (Level 3) so pick in the wall(s), go to properties and in the field "Top Constraint" pick in "Unconnected" then the "box" open and select that level, in this case "Level 3" and in the field "Unconnected Height" put 0.0 and the walls automat. attached to that level...

Typhoon that is what I am doing but it wont go up to the level that I want it too. I dont know if someone has locked some dimensions to this wall and then deleated them or what is going on.

When you edit floors, you are given an option to attach walls to them. When you say yes, these are then locked to that level - even if you later adjust them.

I understand exactly this problem coz I have the same. I changed the level height but the walls didn't change the height in 3D even if in properties they have the right height. I see that they are attached to something but I can't find to what...

If the wall properties says their top is constrained by your level, then either top of the wall is attached to something (use detach all) or the wall has a sketch that modifies it (click on wall and see if the reset profile is ghosted - if not, then the wall has a sketch defining its limits).

Detache all doesn't work all the time (I don't understand why) but if you search the floor that the wall is attached to, it may help clicking on the yellow triangle of warning. By checking the box of the floor/roof you can see it highlighted (at first you have to expand the error message). Just a hint to people having the same problem as me.
