Good day to the revit community! First, I will like to thanks all of you who helped me learn Revit and who still help me! After implanting Revit in our office (still implanting actually), here's what I think should be added to the next upgrade of Revit. - Better site tools: - Curb tool that follow topography - Sidewalk tool that follow topography - Road tool that follow Topography - The possibiliy to create custom familly that follows topography - More control with section lines graphical apparence - I mean that it is impossible to create parametric familly of tails. I would like to make a section tail that is a filled rectangle (filled region with solid) that we could modify the lenght by instance. - As a general statement, we should be able to customise system lines (as section lines, title line, etc.) like creating a double line. - Improvement on wall tags - There should be a way to create a tag that list all the walls materials, from the inside to the oudside, or inverse. - Improvement with rendering - There should be a way to create realistic grass, like the use of a displacement map or hair/fur. - Revit should permit the use of HDRI Images. - Improvement with the railing tool - This tool should be more flexible. There should be a way to remove baluster one by one easily and add post easily, randomly. This tool is too complicated, mathematical, not intuitive. - The rail and post and baluster should be joined geometry. - Extended hatch function - Hatch should permit gradient hatch. - Better control over view placed on sheet - There should be a way that the background of a view go opaque so that you can superpose two view partially. Thanks to all! Revit is the future! Math.
