I had my underlays showing door swings, furniture, etc.. Somehow they don't show all that information anymore, don't know if someone within the design team screwed something up. Now they only show walls without any openings. I've been tweaking the view range Something I didn't have to do before) with no results whatsoever. The ONLY way to fix it is switching to wireframe. Is this a revit 2009 bug? is there an easy way to fix this? Thanks.

Nope. It didn't do anything. The active view is just fine, the underlayed view shows just walls. But if I go to the level I used as an underlay It looks ok. The orientation is set to plan. In the past it was just a matter of selecting the underlay level, and it showed everything. No need to change the view range. And as far as I remember the view range has always been (and still is) reasonably within that range.

But are you trying to view with underlay the other objects was in the level below or above or simple in the current level?

The way it used to work was that we placed the typical level (level 4) as an underlay and it showed with all detail (doors, furniture, etc). Sometimes we placed it as underlay on the levels below (for reference to drain locations, fixtures, etc.) and sometimes on the levels above for referencing commons, like corridor walls, shafts, slab openings, etc.... Now level 4 only shows walls. No doors, no furniture, not anything. I thought I had the ceilings turned on blocking all that detail, but even by turning ceilings off, nothing happens. If I turn it into wireframe, everything is back to how it used to be. thanks for your help.

It must be something with the parameters of the view range...
