Hi everybody, i'm doing a simple rendering of a house, but the glass looks very dark, almost pitch black. I'd like to do something more "alive", "reflective". Any ideas. What am i doing wrong here?

Hi MEAB, what version are you use? do you try to render Interior or Exterior, or both? what the settings of render? Are you use only the SUN or sun and interior lights? i think you have to be more explicit by what you trying to do, have any screenshots what are trying to render?

hi, i'm using revit architecture 2009. It's an exterior elevation. Sun only, no artificial lights.

Hi, the image it's good, you can change the material of the glass (or edit that material) and change the reflective, transparency, color and so one....

For this I like to do 2 renders of the same image. One in daylight and another with artificial lights only. Then overlay the two images in Photoshop using an exclusion or difference filter. This way you will see some of the detail inside the windows. You can also enable daylight portals to get more correct light transference inside. First though, ensure that you glass material is appropriately set to allow decent transparency. Alternatively as mentioned, you can turn the reflectivity up to give more a mirrored effect?
