Is there anyway to link the walls to the gridlines so when the gridlines move the walls do the same. So the wall always remains on the grid in a certain location.

Try aligning the wall to the grid line and then locking it. Whenever you move the grid line, the wall should follow. p.a. osickey

you can also creat a dimension from the grid line to the wall and lock it. you can also create a reference plane and set a dimension to the reference plane from the grid line and lock it. then you can aline and lock to the reference plane.
