Anyone ever had a similar experience to this? I work for a complany that specialises in the creation of building models to be used in EPC simulations in IES<VE>. We create a model of the building in Revit, tag it, export to gbxml and import that file into IES<VE> to create a .mit file which our partner companies can then use in their simulations. We've completed 150+ buildings without a hitch but this is the first time I've seen this problem occur. The building in question in a large office block with approx 550 rooms. None of the rooms are particularly big apart from the basement car park area, which is broken up with room separation lines anyway since it surrounds a number of isolated plant and cycle storage rooms. However, whenever the gbxml is re-constructed in IES<VE> we find that random windows have disappeared from the external walls, while windows have appeared randomly on internal partitions. Has anyone got any ideas what might be causing this issue? I'm absolutely stumped, I've made sure there are no redundant room tags floating around in the model, that no windows are clashing with any of the slabs or partitions and absolutely everything else I can think of to ensure that the transition from Revit to IES is as smooth as possible, all of which have had no effect so far.
