I am trying to use an outside corner mullion in a curtainwall system as shown in the attached detail.  Has anyone created one or have any direction on how to go about creating one.

Hi, the best way to do it, is open an existent corner mullion, save with other name to preserve the original then change to the shape you want, like in your image attached...

If you need and outside ccorner mullion in plan at a smaller scale (i.e. 1/8" or 1/4"

I just use a Structural Column and make it to the shape that I need for the outside mullion, and then I leave the 2 end mullions off the curtain walls. That seems to be what we need to show here.

Is it reaaly possible to edit corner mullion profile like shown at image above. i thought we can not edit the profile of system families such as corner mullions.. i tried to edit quad corner mullion, but obviously edit option for corner mullions dont work... How can we edit it, can you explain?

Corner mullion options seem to be currently only the system profiles.  Size can be altered but not the profile.

BUT ... you can create a new mullion - any shape - and include it in your rectangular mullion types - just assign the new profile.  For mullions like the original post, you need a left and a right.

I tried it, but grafically i couldnot get the result that I want. So that, I created an in place family which shaped like corner mullion and it worked. Only problem with doing that is takes more time and attention than having a modified corner mullion..
