Dose anyone know how to add a background image (as you could in 200 when rendering an image? The skies are good but I would like to add the photo of the back ground for my project. If it can't be done is there a work around?

You can render your image with White background and then go to the photoshop and "apply" the new background you want...

you can also create an drafting view, import the two images into the drafting view to combine, and the drag the drafting view onto a sheet. you can also do all this directly on the sheet also. but is only simple overlaying and scaling. if you need to do things like matching perspective etc. you will need to use a program like Photoshop. you dont even really need photoshop at all. Just render your scene with the mental ray sky, export it as a TIFF then insert the image into a drafting view on top of the image you want to use as the background. When exporting to a TIFF Revit makes the ALPHA channel transparent (Mental Ray Sky = alpha channel)

I was able to make it work only by using a PNG, not a TIFF. Hope that helps.

you can also create a mass thats the shape and size of the image and place it where you need it. that way you will be able to see it through glass of a house if it was a site image.
