I am using modeling/columns in my building now. The columns acquire the material of walls they intersect with. That mess up a lot my floorplans. From the columns properties one can set the column material, but it persists to show the wall's material instead of what i set in the properties. What to do now? Best Regards

This problem has been posted many times so a little searching in the forums would have answered your question. The standard "column" is more like a pilaster and it will assume the wall material. Use a structural column and define its materials as you would like.
