Is there a tab to switch on to see a dimension both in Imperial units and Metric units while working in revit 2009?

I assume you are referring to the temporary dimensions. You can't have both display at the same time. Its one or the other. You can only have two separate dimensions styles to display both at the same time, but these must be manually placed.
