Again, this is another naggin issue that I'm pretty sure I know the answer... Is is possible to rotate door tags (or any tag for that matter) to any other degree besides 90? I'd love to have 45 or another custom degree, but I haven't found a way... Anyone know if this is possible?

The only other thing you can do is to have the tag align with the rotation of the element. Open the tag family and go to Settings-->Family Category and Parameters, and click the checkmark button labled "Rotate with Component". Save the family and reload it into your project. This will allow the tag to align with the element.

Edit the door tag family and rotate it in the editor. See attached image. Tim

It's easy enough - When you select the door tag, the options bar above the view window gives you the option for the tag to be horizontal or vertical. Hope that helps!

Attached is a door tag family we made at our office that will allow you to rotate the tag as a (type parameter). The only problem is having many different angled doors requires many different types but you can rotate the tag anyway you want and place it where you want. Hope this helps.

- This is what you guys need. It looks way better than when you use the preset revit tag option.
