Is there any way, in Revit 2008, to control the order in which the sheets are sent to the printer. If I was able to edit this, it would save a ton of time spent reordering the sheets once they have been printed.

Yes, after you pick what sheets you want to print, check the 'reverse print order' box

You can create a shared parameter and apply it to the drawing sheets category and enter numerical values for each sheet. You then can arrange the sheets in the Project browser using those values as the sort by parameter.

James, The problem is that the displayed order for printing has nothing to do with the browser order. The print display order seems to be purly alphabetical and I don't see a way around that except by breaking the order up into groups that are alphabetical and printing those in the proper sequence.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood your question. I was thinking about the browser order not print order. I am not sure if there is a way to arrange the print order.

I found out the there is a Batch Print Utility available for Autodesk Subscription Members that allow you to control the order in which you print. I have not used it but if you are a Subscription Member it might be worth a look.
