I am trying to create a titleblock which has a generic annotation referenced by a parameter; I want to be able to open a project with the titleblock in it and the generic annotation would be visible and type-editable (so far not showing up).
The titleblock "flexes" when it is open for editing (which makes me think it can work) but does not work or even show up once within a project.
Any ideas?

Found the fix, when you create custom generic annotations, they have settings under the settings tab for family category and parameters. I went in there and edited the visibilty of the original family file and reloaded into the titleblock- works great.
