I am looking for a SF tool like the SF Inquiry tool in Acad. Just need to do a quick SF from time to time before making a room or an area, just down and dirty info but just cant seem to fine the tool, the REVIT "Tape Measure" tool is like the "Distance" tool in Acad so I would HOPE/Think revit may have the SF one as well??? HELP Marty

Welcome to Revit. AutoCad has a SF tool because it doesn't know how big or how much anything is unless you ask. Revit always knows. Just create a room or an area and it will display the s.f. in a schedule or in the element properties. You could also look at the element properities of a floor if it is the correct size.
