As much as I am please with the new Dimension Overrides box... Why have I now lost the ability to edit multiple dimensions!?!?!?!??! Why would something as simple as this be removed? Where we could previously select multiple dimensions and simply add a common Prefix within Element Properities, it seems we now need to do it one-by-one. Back to the stone age we go... Have I missed something?

I would say you have not missed a thing. Seems a bit silly doesn't it? If the software is truly parametric, you'd think you could tie a parameter from one dialogue box into the parameters that show up in another dialogue box. So just make the Prefix parameter show up in the Element Properties box. I know the guys at the factory are working hard on this, but this one seems a bit silly. I'm sure someone was thinking "How many dimensions do you really need to override text on in a project?" not thinking of the situation that you are probably in now, having to manipulate multiple dimensions strings at once... oh well.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! |

So is it still possible to link the Prefix/Suffix parameter into the Element Properties Dialog when multiple dimensions are selected? Or were you implying that this would be the best method for the future...?

It was more of a note to those developers that troll the forums. I was asking them why it wouldn't be possible to link the parameters.
