I'm trying to get our issue date/revision schedule on our sheets to show the issue date (compared to a revision) without having to draw a cloud to get that issue date to show up. I know a workaround is to just draw a small cloud somewhere and shut it off in the schedule so the issue date shows up, but I'm hoping there is a better way of doing this. Is it possible to get this to show without having to cloud? (using Revit Arch 09)

Hey, I may be misunderstanding you, but in the project browser under sheets, right click on a sheet and scroll down to properties. A dialog box should pop up, scroll down and you should see "Revisions on Sheet" and edit next to it. Click edit, and tick the boxes. Is that what you want?

You can create a shared parameter for your sheets that is instance based and use that.

timbo89's response helped me with this same issue. First I went into Settings > Revisions, and created a revisions that said, "date isssued" with the date, but under "numbering" told it "none". This way, subsequent revisions start with 1, and the "date issued" is still the first item on the list, but does not have a number in the revisions list on the title block. Then, for every sheet i have, I did what timbo89 said and checked the "date issued" revision to show up, without having to draw a cloud on each sheet and hide it.
