Trying to make a hollow metal framed door starting with the regular flush door from the Library, and don't understand some of the fundamentals... How is the wall opening defined in the door family? At first I thought it was the "left" and "right" reference planes, but changing their status to Weak Reference and establishing a new plane as "left" has no effect on the wall opening. I'm sure it's easy enough to find and download a HM door, but I want to understand the nuts and bolts! Thanks!

Hi, to create "a hollow metal framed door" you can do this with the "SOLID SWEEP" around of your door, by the way, LOCK all the lines to constrain to the door and wall...
