revit 2k9 so i have a callout in a section view, I've been trying to reference it on my floor plan view, but when i click through my available callouts to reference, it's not an available option. are you unable to reference callouts on section views to plan views? ek

ok i did some tinkering and i think i need to be more clear since revit's whole concept of how details, sections, and callouts seems very... annoying. I noticed you can have a callout in a section view, and you can reference that callout to a plan view, BUT, you have to REFERENCE IT AS A SECTION! I dont have an option to reference a callout as a callout?? If this doesnt really make sense i understand, it doesnt really make alot of sense to me either. any suggestions on if im missing something.

If in an elevation, you can cut a section horizontally, by changing your option to detail view. That view will show up in the appropriate plan view as a call-out.
