I would like to make a series of short tutorials for my firm and I was wondering if anyone knows the easiest way to make a video capture movie of your computer screen with a microphone for audio.

I use a great little piece of software called CamStudio.  It is ope source freeware and until recently was an abandoned project.  The best way to use it is to have the employees install the CamStudio lossless codecs so that you can encode using the lossless encoder.  This gives very high quality playback but also produces large file sizes.  It can also record microphone input for voice overs and has a plethura of other options for mouse follow, subtitles, etc.

Best of luck!

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!

After downloading and trying Jing... I will gladly say use Jing over CamStudio.  Made comparison video captures... Jing's 2MB file compared to CamStudio's 200MB file... not sure what's up with that.
