Hi to you, Revit community! I have a question. I'm trying to build a quite simple railing. See attached images. The problem is that rails are continous. Actually, I want the railings to be cutted py bost. Is it possible to accomplish this and get rid of those "crossing lines" where post and rails met ? See attached images. Thanks to all! Math.

Unfortunately the rails will not join geometry with the posts in rail objects. The best way to get rid of the intersectino lines is to make the posts slightly larger than the rails. 1/4-1/2" larger should suffice.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! |
