After setting all my lineweights and object styles in R2009 so i would get a perfect plot, they seem not to be working: my projection lines are showing thicker than the cut lines, furniture objects have become almost black dots. Any idea why this happens and how to fix it (possibly without using the linework tool, that takes really a lot of work)?

It sounds like you don't have something right but without the model, it is hard for us to track down. You say you adjusted several things. Could you simplify a copy of the model deleting all but a couple of components so someone could look at it? Or give a few screen shots of your linewights & object style settings.

I changed my view templates and it seems to work, but thanks anyway!
