Is there any easy ways out of this...
Let say we have a in-place slanting wall (refer attached JPG) and we would like to have a window on it, current insert window techniques would end up giving the results as shown in the attached JPG.
As far as I could think of is to create a opening on the slanting wall and create a separate window using generic model (properly by introducing a radial parameter/ or using reference line) so that allow the window to rotate & fit to the opening..Is this the only solution...Any other easier workaround??

I'd duplicate the family and create another window family created from blends and then add a formula to calculate the offset of the blend given a particular angle...
In the real world there would be a need to create a specific window type for this instance, as such you have to in revit also...

Thanks for the workaround, Mr Spot..
I think your method is better than me cause properly your window can be parametric and as my workaround proper very rigid in the sense of getting them work properly..
btw, can you upload that the window you are mentioning for my reference..Not too sure how to apply formula in this case by using "blend" window. Thanks in advance

I never mentioned a window... lol
Formula would be just some simple trig... Dimension off the base blend in your top blend and add a parameter for offset and group under constraints.
Then go to your family types and add a parameter, angle and call it wall angle/slope or whatever suits your fancy.
Then utilise a little trig to get:
Offset = (Tan (90-Wall angle))*Height
Or something like that, depending on how yours is setup.
HTH.

Haha...My mistakes in the sentence..
Anyway, will get it a try on the formula.

I would just love to know how you made the wall slant!

bayou66,
Just use create-in place wall family>extrusion and sketch your slanting wall profile in sections/ elevation.
You can use solid sweep as well but in this case, I used extrusion
